FOR THE BETTER GOOD
For the Better Good is a regenerative alternative to traditional plastic bottles and packaging providing businesses with a simple choice.
The Renewable materials are made from naturally occurring starch and can live in a specifically built end to end system. This creates the potential for a waste-free alternative to traditional plastic products.
"Closed Loop have been a game changer for me within the local event scene in the Hawkes Bay. As an event organiser I am constantly mindful about the volume of waste we generate, which goes hand in hand with having large numbers of people in a condensed area over a short period of time. By using Closed Loop I am confident we are putting our best foot forward for the environment on behalf of the punters that attend the event. Every bottle, can, and piece of food packaging is sorted in a way that guarantees our recycling is contamination free. When I can walk away from an event knowing we have diverted 71% from landfill it’s a really good feeling. Venues I work with that prioritise a Zero Waste approach to events include Church Road Winery & Zeffer Cidery, both of which have embraced the concept of Zero Waste not only on event days but across their entire operation. It is an investment, but one I see as non-negotiable moving forward given the challenges we as a country face around waste generation and management at events."
