SUSTAINABLE WASTE MANAGEMENT

In January 2022 Coro Events pulled together three new music festivals held over three different weekends at Joe's Farm, Whangamata. There was Sundown: New Zealand’s newest Reggae Festival, Dance Farm: A music festival full of great kiwi talent, and Kickdown, New Zealand’s newest three-day motorcycle festival, featuring the best of kiwi rock bands, bike shows and trade displays as well as the big attraction “Ride the Loop” around the stunning Coromandel Peninsula coastal roads.”

“Closed Loop teamed up with Coro Events to provide the waste management on site and hand sorted 57.9m3 of waste over the three events into 11 different streams, with 78% of it diverted from landfill. Our team did an amazing job and kept their spirits high, even with the need to isolate and get tested for covid during an event.
